Abu Dhabi, April 11: Visiting Swedish industrialist and chairman of Skandinaviska Enskilda Bank, Marcus Wallenberg, has met with UAE Foreign Trade Minister Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi here to discuss avenues for investments in the country, it was announced Monday.
They also reviewed the UAE-Swedish economic cooperation. The minister pointed out that the UAE economy has rapidly developed over the years.
Wallenberg, who is currently the chairman of Skandinaviska Enskilda Bank and the deputy chairman of Ericsson, explored avenues of increasing activities of these companies in the UAE.
Sheikha Lubna has invited the Swedish companies to benefit from the UAE’s development plans. Wallenberg said Sweden is interested in boosting trade cooperation with the UAE.
