Swatch Hyderabad to solve local issues: Indrakaran

Participating in Swatch Hyderabad and Swatch Telangana program at Kuthbullapur, Endowment and Law Minister Indrakaran Reddy today said that the government will resolve problems related to cleanliness, housing, water, roads, electricity, pensions and others. Small issues will be addressed on the spot and the bigger ones in two to three days he said.
During his visit to several areas he asked the people to participate in the Swatch Hyderabad program which is aimed at addressing their own grievances and problems. Reddy asked the people to make use of two dust bins being supplied by the government. One is meant for dry garbage and other is for damp waste he said adding that the people should help the officials to keep their premises clean and spread greenery.
He interacted with the people on their problems. Stating that steps are being taken for extensive greenery through plantation of saplings across the state to overcome pollution problem and attract timely rains. Indrakaran Reddy also promised to address the grievances such as drinking water, roads repairs, electricity, drainage and regular clearance of garbage from the street corners.
The minister asked the officials who were present to ensure that there is no garbage pile up at the streets. Reddy also asked the officials to throw bleaching power after removal of the garbage and take up fogging operations to get rid of from the mosquito problems. The government will note down their issues and will initiate steps to provide permanent housing facility to the shelterless and pensions to the eligible.(NSS)
