The police on Monday arrested Sri Peetadhipathi Swami Paripurnananda and many others, when they participated in a rally near Charminar and tried to go to the Bhagyalaxmi temple.
Bharateeya Janata Party (BJP) and Hindu organizations have taken out the rally, condemning what they said as the Government’s attitude towards the MIM on the issue of Bhagyalaxmi temple. The organizations proposed to take out the rally up to Bhagyalaxmi temple. Swamy Paripurnananda and several leaders of Hindu organizations participated in the rally.
The police arrested them and shifted them to Gandhi Nagar police station.It may be mentioned that yesterday, the police have arrested seven legislators and other MIM leaders near Charminar when they tried to organize a demonstration.
