Chamba (HP), October 13: Swami Ramdev today claimed that he would not join active politics, but would continue to work to cleanse the political system of the country.
“I will not take part in active politics but work as a ‘sanyasi’ to cleanse the politics,” he said while talking to mediapersons here.
Asked on his newly launched political outfit ‘Bharat Swabhiman’, Swami Ramdev made it clear that his party would not contest the forthcoming Assembly elections in the states but prepare for the next Lok Sabha polls.
Laws and politics would change after the entry of his party in mainstream electoral politics as one of the main objectives of his mission was to bring back black money worth Rs 300 lakh from abroad, he said.
