City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin along with Corporators and public representatives of their respective areas, are conducting Padayatras as a part of Swachh Survekshan involving citizens to come forward to participate in the program duly dialing 1969 to get top rank in the Swachh Survekshan program, which is scheduled to be held next month.
Mayor and Deputy Mayor this morning visited Devarakonda, Basthi Banjarahills, Vengalrao Nagar, Kachiguda and taken out rallies along with the Corporators concerned in their respective wards. They interacted with the citizens and appealed to all residents to take part in the Swachh Survekshan program. The Mayor directed that the Swachh auto drivers not accept garbage waste from the households if they have not segregated the wet and dry separately under any circumstances.
Baba Fasiuddin and Kilari Manohar conducted Padayathra in Vengalrao Nagar division where they interacted with the Sanitation, Entomology, Sanitary Supervisors, Sanitary Field Assistants and involved local public representatives and cleaned the roads. While inspecting SRT Nagar, the Deputy Mayor has observed one of the unauthorized constructions near Reliance JIO Towers and instructed the Town Planning officials to issue a notice and initiate immediate action
Animal Husbandry & Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, along with concerned Corporators and senior officials of the North Zone went on padayathra at Bansilalpet and briefed the residents about the Swachh Survekshan. He also appealed to the residents to take part in the program and also segregate garbage waste from the households to give more importance and priority in making the city clean and green. (NSS)
