Swachh Bharat campaign was organized in DLRL here in a grand manner. More than 450 employees participated in the campaign.
After administering Swachh Bharat Pledge to all the employees, massive cleaning operation drive and tree plantation was carried out along the widespread campus admeasuring 220 acres of this 52 years old institution.
The campaign drive was led by S.P. Dash, Director, DLRL. He exhorted the employees to maintain the same spirit and temperament throughout the next five years i.e. till 2019 which is the 150thAnniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Quiz, Essay competitions and other clean and green drive will continue throughout the next five years as a part of this massive movement for making a clean and green Bharat. (NSS)
