“Swacch Hyderabad” program is a continuous process to make the city clean and green, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has said.
The minister was participating in the cleaning program at NBT Nagar where he came to know that the local residents are very poor and deprived of basic amenities. He exhorted the residents to join the officials in the cleaning drive successfully. He said he was ascertaining problems of the people and trying to address the same immediately.
Harish Rao assured the locals that the government would provide them with all basic amenities. The Swacch Hyderabad program will continue with people’s participation to make the city clean, he said. The Government was making tireless efforts to beautify Hyderabad by removing garbage and trash everywhere in the city. (NSS)
