The sustenance of the nations lies more in learning the writing system of Urdu than reading it

(Siasat News) Islamic calligraphic Exhibition organized by Siasat Urdu Daily at Salar Jung Museum is attracting more number of visitors every day. Yesterday more than 5000 visitors came to the exhibition. Mr. Shaik Mohammed Farooqui wrote in the visitors’ book that “Zinda Hai Urdu Jiske Damse Ye sub hain”. He further wrote that today there is greater need for learning Urdu writing than reading it. He wrote that the sustenance of nations is in sustenance of their language. If their language is alive then that nation would be alive. He was very much impressed by seeing the carvings on apple and on rice seed.

Ms. Nushath wrote that she was overwhelmed by seeing this calligraphic exhibits. Mr. Kareem Unnisa wrote that after meeting the calligraphers, she was very much pleased. She told that all those persons who are making efforts to keep Islamic Calligraphy alive are worth praising. She special thank the steps taken by Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan and Mr. Zahed Ali Khan for preservation of Islamic Calligraphy.

Mr. Omer Ali Khan, Chairman of Islamic Heritage Foundation wrote that this exhibition is worth seeing. He applauded the art of Islamic Calligraphy of Mr. Nayeem Sabri and congratulated Mr. Zahed Ali Khan and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan.
