Hyderabad, December 29: A converted woman died mysteriously in Kukatpally at the city outskirts. The incident occurred at Allwyn colony where 52 year old Somati charred to death in her house. Her death is believed to be from the water heater.
It is said that Somati was the wife of Shankar resident of Rajiv Gruha Kalpa. Some months ago she left Hindu religion and accepted Christianity following which she was living in Christian society at Allwyn colony away from her relatives and husband.
She had handed over her gold jewellery and cash amount worth 1 lakh 60 thousand to the society after conversion. The woman had complains with the Christian society that it is not looking after her properly and they are overlooking her after taking the amount. She had complained her husband about this however he rejected her plea saying that ‘now you don’t have any relation with Hindu religion.’
