A suspicious bag created panic in an RTC bus on Wednesday. The incident occurred at the posh locality Abids yesterday morning when a suspicious black colour bag was found in the bus no. 141 belonging to Kachiguda depot.
Police immediately sprung into action. It is said that the a black colour bag was found near the seat reserved for physically handicapped person after which the conductor stopped the bus near Chermas’ at the busy area Abids and informed police. In view of the budget session in Assembly police had maintained strict vigilance. On the receipt of information teams of police immediately reached the spot and searched the bag after calling bomb disposal and dog squad. It was found that a person had incidentally left the bag in the bus. Police recovered a tiffin box and some documents in the bag.
