Hyderabad: South Central Railway general manager Vinodkumar Yadav has made it clear that the survey works for MMTS up to Yadagirigutta were going on and tenders will be called upon in April.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Yadav said that the works will be launched in October or November month. After examining the MMTS phase-II works at field level in the route of Secunderabad-Moulali-Ghatkesar, Yadav said that the works of Tellapur-Ramachandrapuram line in MMTS phase-II will be started this year’s December. The second phase works will be completed by 2018, he said and explained that the department was discussing with the civil aviation department officials on the hurdles in extending the MMTS up to Shamshabad Airport. Yadav also informed that new terminal will be constructed at Charlapally with Rs 80 crore. (NSS)
