Hyderabad, January 6: Osman bin Mohammad Alhajari president Deccan Waqf Protection Society demanding peaceful survey for the protection of Toli Masjid waqf land on January 7 said that despite court orders communal and opportunist elements have been forcibly stopping the survey commissioner from carrying out the survey of mosque waqf land for the past 4 months. Police is also playing the role of mute spectator.
The honourable judge of waqf tribunal asked for survey commissioner’s report on which survey commissioner Geetanjali complained non cooperation of waqf board, revenue department and police. At this, the judge issued orders to various departments such as police, revenue and waqf to cooperate and lend support to the survey commissioner for survey to be done on January 7.
Osman Alhajari appealed Muslims of Hyderabad especially Imams of mosques to pray for the recovery of waqf land of Toli mosque in Friday prayers.
