On credible information, a Surprise check was conducted on the RTA Tetagunta Check Post of East Godavari District during the early hours of Dec 29 An amount of Rs.1,25,290 (Rupees One lakh, twenty five thousand, two hundred and ninety only) which was illegally collected by the staff of RTA Check Post Tetagunta was seized along with the connected records. The matter is under investigation. (INN)
