Hyderabad, October 06 (Siasat News): Two main reservoirs of the city over flowed due to cloudburst in the twin cities in the evening and surplus water is likely to be released from them.
Full reservoir level of Osman Sagar is 1790 where as full capacity level of Himayath Sagar is 1763.5 and both the reservoirs are filled to the brim.
The heavy rain in the areas above the reservoirs is likely to result in increased inflow of water as a result water may be released in the Musi River.
Officials of Hyderabad Metro water supply and sewerage board will alert the families living in the downstream of Musi River ahead of water release.
