Hyderabad, December 23: Slain faction leader Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri’s niece G Hemalatha Reddy was arrested by CID sleuths in a case related to criminal intimidation of a businessman.
Based on a complaint filed by Sudheer Reddy, the police arrested Hemalatha.
The slain faction leader had got involved in a land dispute case with a NIMS doctor Naga Vara Prasad Rao. Suri’s ‘killer’ Bhanu Kiran, Hemalatha and others threatened Sudheer.
Hemalatha was arrested and produced in court on Wednesday. She was granted bail when her counsel moved a petition in this regard.
