Suri murderer Bhanu arrested

Bhanu Kiran, who is alleged to have murdered Rayalaseema faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri has been nabbed by the police at last.

Suri was murdered on January 3 last year in Hyderabad. Bhanu, a right hand person of Suri, was suspected to have murdered him. Suri was sitting by the side of the driver of his car and Bhanu was sitting in the rear seat. Driver of Suri has complained to the police that Bhanu had shot him from behind and escaped from the scene.

Since the murder, Bhanu has been eluding arrest.Despite best trials, police could not trace him. The DGP Dinesh Reddy, who has taken his arrest as a challenge,had set up several teams which started tracking him down.Finally, the CID police have announced that Bhanu was arrested. However, where he was arrested was not announced.According to some reports, Bhanu was arrested in Ongole of Prakasham district. Other reports said that he was nabbed at Zaheerabad in Medak district while on his way to Hyderabad from Mumbai.Bhanu was suspected to have been disguising himself to avoid arrest.

Police have so far arrested Manmohan, Subbaiah, Hari Babu and Venkata Ramana, also suspects in the case. The murder case was transferred to the CID from the CCS on April 18, 2011.

It may be mentioned here that Moddu Srinu, who claimed to have murdered TDP leader Paritala Ravindra only to please Maddelacheruvu Suri. Suri who was named an accused in the case was on bail when he was murdered. Moddu Srinu was also murdered while he was in jail, under mysterious circumstances.
