The sex injuries have doubled since 2007, with a particular jump since the release of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ novels.
Especially in United States, many of the mishaps involving sex toys coincided with the 2012 and 2013 releases of the ‘Fifty Shades’ novels, E! Online reported.
What’s even scarier was that 83 percent of those injuries required what’s deemed “foreign body removals.”
The majority of those getting hurt while trying to get down were males over the age of 40, which means that probably many cases of wives forcing Christian Grey-esque moves on their unwitting husbands.
However, most of the injuries reported were more embarrassing than serious. (ANI)
