Karachi: There has been 42 per cent rise in daily attacks carried out by Islamic States of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) worldwide, reported by IHS Jane’s Terrorism and Insurgency Centre.
According to the London-based analysis firm, a total of 1,086 ISIS attacks worldwide have been recorded between the months of July and September, reported the Dawn.
There have been 2,978 non-militant fatalities- a huge 65.3pc increase in the average daily killings by the group compared to the previous three months, and an 81pc jump on one year earlier, the national daily reported.
The figures published by the centre suggest that United States- led coalition operations against ISIS have had only a limited impact on the group. (ANI)
