NEW DELHI: Cricketer Suresh Raina on Monday rubbished the fake news and rumours of his death post a car accident that left his family and friends disturbed.
The top Indian all-rounder took to Twitter and tweeted:
“Past few days there has been fake news of me being hurt in a car accident.The hoax has my family & friends deeply disturbed. Please ignore any such news; with god’s grace I’m doing absolutely fine. Those @youtube channels have been reported & hope strict actions will be taken soon,” Raina wrote on Twitter.

Over the past few days, several videos of the fake news popped up on video-sharing platform YouTube and on fan pages on social media mentioning that the Uttar Pradesh star passed away following a road accident.
Raina, plays for Chennai Super Kings in the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL), will be representing the franchise in the 12th edition of the tournament starting March 23.
