Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today termed the Railway Budget 2015 as common man budget. Reacting on the maiden Railway budget presented by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.
Dattatreya speaking to media persons appreciated that the former has come up with a financial statement to help general passengers and working class. This time around South Central Railway has got 24 per cent of more funds compared to last year, Dattatreya stated. This rail budget shows direction for coming five years, he said. He also appealed to the Centre to allot adequate number of projects for two Telugu states. Dattatreya said that the railway budget will sure prove handy for the common man and working people, he noted. Besides focusing on security, amenities and infrastructure has given impetus on use of new technologies, four months advance booking, SMS alert and five minutes purchase of the tickets besides providing security to women.
