Principal Secretary of Health & Medical department Suresh Chanda, who has been appointed first Vice-Chancellor of the just formed Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University, took charge on Saturday.
Deputy Chief Minister with Medical and Health portfolio T Rajaiah inaugurated the Telangana Health University located on the premises of the Kakatiya University in Warangal. Many people, including MPs, MLAs, district Collector turned up at the function and congratulated the VC.
Speaking after taking charge, Suresh Chanda said all medical colleges functioning in the Telangana State would be under the jurisdiction of the Kaloji Health University. He also inspected the medical college later. (NSS)
