CPI general secretary and former MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy on Monday expressed his grief over the death of eminent Telugu film director and producer Bapu.
In a statement here, the CPI leader, while condoling Bapu’s death on behalf of the party, said Bapu was a multi-faceted personality and his death left a great void in the cine and literary fields.
The CPI general secretary also condoled the death of former CPI MLA K V Gurnatha Reddy of Chinakonduru in Nalgonda district. Sudhakar Reddy said Gurnatha Reddy actively participated in the Telangana Armed Struggle. He was amiable and adhered to party policies till his last breath. He also conveyed condolences to the members of the bereaved family. (NSS)
