SURAT: In a shocking incident, a woman traffic brigade employee was thrashed in public by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader’s family.
The BJP politician’s family were caught on camera assaulting a woman traffic officer in Gujarat’s Surat.
Bharat Dave is a BJP vice-president of Surat district. His son Setu Dave, his wife Mitali and brother-in-law Jigar Desai thrashed Alpa Patel, a woman traffic brigade employee on duty.
Jigar’s mother is also a BJP councillor in Bardoli municipality.

In the video, the couple can be seen engaging in verbal spat which soon turned violent as they started hitting each other.
The entire scuffle was captured on a CCTV camera installed in a nearby shop.
The leader’s daughter-in-law can be seen slapping the traffic cop who was in her uniform when the brawl took place.
The trio has been arrested and a case has been registered against the couple. The woman cop too has been booked for a non-cognizable offence for attacking BJP leader’s son.
