Hyderabad, May 25: The death toll due to heat stroke in the state shot up to117 on Saturday. In Guntur district, a maximum number of 18 persons died.
While 12 each died in East Godavari and Prakasham districts, 7 each died in Krishna,
Karimnagar and Nalgonda districts.
The death toll was 6 each in Vizianagaram, Visakha and Mahabubnagar, while it was four each in Anantapur, Khammam and Medak districts, each in Adilabad, Srikakulam, Hyderabad and Warangal districts, two each in Kadapa and West Godavari districts and one in Kurnool district.
