Two senior citizens died of sunstroke in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh today, according to a press communique released by the district administration. They are P Sri Sailami (65) in Sankuratripadu village and A Tirupathaiah (70) in Pulladigunta village. The district administration has suggested guidelines to avoid sunstroke, which include using umbrella or head gear, loose white apparel and consumption of water or butter milk mixed with common salt. The mercury soared to 47 degrees celsius today in Guntur. PTI
