New Delhi: It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average, the Met said.
Light rains are predicted for Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
“It will be a generally cloudy sky with chances of light rains or thundershowers occurring,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
“The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius,” he said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 82 per cent and 0.6 mm of rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours since Tuesday.
Tuesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average, while the maximum temperature settled at 32.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average.
