New Delhi: It was a sunny Saturday morning in the national capital with shallow fog and the minimum temperature recorded at 9.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average, the Met said.
“The sky will remain clear during the day,” an India Meteorological Department official said.
Visibility stood at 1,000 metres at 8.30 a.m., while the humidity was 90 per cent.
At least 26 trains were cancelled, 32 delayed while one was rescheduled due to fog in some parts of northern India, according to Railways.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average.
