NEW DELHI: Arun Kumar Purushothaman from Kerala is breaking the internet for building a fully-functional mini auto-rickshaw for his kids.
According to Arun, his 5-year-old son Madhav Krishna wanted to have an auto-rickshaw after watching a popular 1990 Malayalam film ‘Aye Auto’. Arun, a staff nurse at Idukki District Hospital, instead of buying his son the toys for his children decided to built a fully-functional one.
In a 10-minute video clip posted on Purushothaman’s YouTube channel, which has been going viral on social media, the mini auto-rickshaw named ‘Sundhari’ can be seen being driven by Madhav and daughter Keshini Krishna.
“My father, who was a carpenter, overhauled a second-hand bicycle with wooden wheels for me. After that, using my father’s tools, I crafted several small toys, especially vehicles,” Deccan Chronicle quoted Purushothaman
After seven months of hard work, Purushothaman has made a mini version of the cute little tri-wheeler for his beloved kids.
Earlier too, Purushothaman posted DIY videos of cool toys on YouTube. He has also made a mini jeep, a tricycle among other things.
