Sunanda Pushkar spotted at WIFW

New Delhi, April 08: Sunanda Pushkar, wife of former minister of state for external affairs Shashi Tharoor, was spotted in the front row of designer Payal Jain’s show on the second day of the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Thursday. She was seen chatting with actress-turned-politician Vani Tripathi.

Dressed in a sleeveless, white anarkali suit with silver sequins on the neckline, Pushkar looked simple and elegant. Vani, Bharatiya Janata Party youth wing’s national secretary, chose to go western, with trousers, a black T-shirt and a blue jacket.

Both of them sat one place away from each other, but that didn’t deter them from speaking to each other.

Jain’s collection celebrated nature. It was aptly titled Five, as it showcased five elements of nature – earth, water, air, fire and space.

Clothes ranged in colours like browns and beige, turquoise and blue, flaming red and orange, pale grey and smoke and black – in keeping with the theme of the collection.

There were long draped tunics and dresses with multiple cascading, layered skirts and structured jackets.
