Peddapally MP Balka Suman today said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has given top priority to Minorities in the appointment of corporations chairmen.
Speaking to the media at TRSLP hereĀ on Wednesday, Suman reminded that KCR has given several posts to Minorities. The previous governments considered Minorities as vote bank only, he alleged and said that the state government was setting up Gurukula Schools in a big way across the state for Minority students. The scheme like Shadi Mubarak filled happiness in Minority families. The Chief Minister was stepping forward aiming the development of the Minorities, he said.
Making it clear that the Chief Minister striving to strengthen the rural economic system, Suman said that the state government was going to allocate funds in a big way to assist the handicrafts and caste based professions. The government was moving forward for the SC, ST, BC and Minorities development, he said and praised KCR saying that the credit of providing reservations in nominated posts goes to KCR only. The government was taking up the sheep and fisheries rearing in the state, he said reminding that the Chief Minister increased the salaries of VRAs, Anganwadi Workers and VAOs salaries. (NSS)
