New Delhi: Delhiites today faced a two- pronged attack of the heat and high humidity, even as the weatherman said a fresh spell of rain is likely tomorrow.
The city had a high of 38 degrees Celsius, which was two notches above the season’s average, and a low of 30 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal level, said a MeT department official.
The humidity soared up to 73 per cent.
A cloud cover would envelope the national capital and rains or thundershowers may occur in the evening.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
