Govt. Urdu Medium School, Sulaiman Nagar is located at Chintalmet. 263 students study in the school but after the school the premises is turned into Gudamba khana by anti-social elements. The school is run since 2002.
Headmistress Ummatul Aleem told that there are only two teachers including her to teach 263 students, while the school doesn’t have any furniture. There is no drinking water or electricity facility. The filthy water of Chintalmet passes through the school premises. The teachers wear mask to overcome the stench emanating from the filthy water but poor students’ health is getting affected by it.
The school premises is used as gudamba khana after the school in the evening. On May 12, 2014, anti social elements even burnt school furniture and 355 note-books of he students.
