A 58-year-old man committed suicide by consuming some unknown poison.
According to Saifabad police, the deceased, Sadanand, a retired RTC driver, took the extreme step at his residence in Chintal Basti on Wednesday. He was immediately rushed to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science (NIMS) where he died a few hours after admission.
In another case, Yang Somi, 22, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Nandi Nagar in Banjara Hills police limits on Wednesday night. She was a native of Manipur and was an employee of a private firm. The reasons that led her to suicide are yet to be ascertained.
In a different case, 16-year-old G Apoorva Sai, an intermediate student, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling after she was rebuked by her parents over some trivial issue. She resorted to the extreme step at her residence in Rahmat Nagar of Yousufugda on Wednesday night, according to Jubilee Hills police. (INN)
