Former MLA and senior Congress leader Sudhir Reddy on Wednesday accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of cheating the farmers of Telangana.
Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan here, Sudhir Reddy alleged that KCR was deliberately delaying the implementation of loan waiver scheme for political gains. He said that TRS Government appears non-serious in fulfilling the promises that it made before elections. He asked KCR to emulate the previous Congress regime which took no time in implementing the promises like free power for farmers, withdrawal of cases against farmers and other major decisions.
Sudhir Reddy requested KCR to resolve the problems being faced by farmers at least on humanitarian grounds. (INN)
