Hyderabad: Sudhir Commission, which was formed to look into the socio-economic conditions of Muslims, requires translators for Urdu translation of its report. But it faces crunch of expert translators. The commission has recently submitted its report to the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. It has been decided to translate the report in Urdu and Telugu also. When the commission contacted Translation Department of the government it was disappointed to know that Urdu translators are not available; those who are available are not so perfect to do accurate translation of the report. Finally the commission has decided to take the matter to Urdu University.
Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel has been given the responsibility to contact with officials of Maulana Azad National Urdu University and accomplish the translation work. It has been learnt that the university has agreed to provide the service through its Urdu and Translation Departments. It is imperative to submit Telugu and Urdu translations of the report to submit it in the assembly as the report is regarding Muslims.
