Hyderabad: Dy. CM of Telangana State, Mr. Mahmood Ali while responding to the budget proposals told that Govt. of Telangana is seriously taking appropriate steps for the welfare of Minorities and it is not violating any of its promises. He further told that Govt. is awaiting the report of Sudheer Commission. It is expected that the commission would submit a detailed report about the educational and economic status of Minorities. He informed that Govt. allocated Rs. 150 crore for performing the marriages of poor Muslim girls. Rs. 80 crore has been allocated for Ramazan and Christmas. Rs. 30 crore is allocated for Telangana Hajj Committee. If more funds are needed, CM could be approached.
