Hyderabad: Telangana government has posted Addl. DGP Sri Sudeep Lakhtakia in the post of DG (Vigilance & Enforcement) created in the state police department to strengthen and vigilance and enforcement administration.
Sudeep Lakhtakia assumed charge as the Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement today at his chambers in the BRKR Bhavan from Additional DGP AK Khan, who was holding the additional charge till now.
The 1984 batch IPS officer Sudeep Lakhtakia worked till as Addl. DGP (Law & Order) in DGP Office, Hyderabad.
Sudeep Lakhtakia is the first regular DG of Vigilance and Enforcement since the formation of Telangana state. Senior IPS officers Rajeev Trivedi and AK Khan were holding full additional Charge of the Vigilance and Enforcement department till now. (INN)
