Human beings can make their lives successful only through the light of knowledge. Without knowledge life is useless. Knowledge should be acquired at any cost even if someone is a handicapped person. Knowledge has been given very much importance in Islam. Every man and woman should get education. These thoughts were expressed by Mr. Abid Rasool Khan, Chairman A.P. State Minorities Commission at Govt. School for the blind at Darushifa. A.P. Urdu forum and Mazhar Educational Society organized the function. Mr. Khan requested the voluntary organizations to get blind children admitted in Govt. schools to save them from beggary. He announced that 10 computer would be provided to the students of the school for the blind and 5 computers to the students of Urdu medium school adjacent to it. He also assured that he would make a representation to the Govt. to establish English Medium section also. Ms. Soparna, Incharge Principal welcomed the guests. Mr. Mohd Azam and Mr. Hafiz Sabeer Pasha also addressed the gathering. President of Urdu forum, Mr. Mohd Ismailur-Rab Ansari in his speech told that the school has produced cent percent results in SSC Urdu medium. This has been possible with the untiring efforts of the school teachers. Mr. Mohd Ajaz-uz-Zaman, Member of Minority Cell of Congress gave his car for one week and Mr. Shaheed Siddiqui member, Telecom also gave his car for 3 days for organizing awareness program for getting blind children into this school by meeting their parents.
