Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma today directed special chief secretaries to submit department-wise report on financial status of revenue and expenditure for various schemes.
Addressing a high-level review meeting with heads of departments, Dr Rajiv Sharma asked the officials to submit a detailed report on expenditure, revenue through departments and Central-sponsored schemes, utilization certificates and related financial transactions. He stated that each special chief secretary has to prepare a report comprising these details pertaining to three to four departments. The CS also sought details of court cases related to income in departments, expenditure for various welfare schemes, income through government lands, new ways of getting income, revenue leakage, allocation and expenditure to famous schemes and funds for other developmental activities.
