Mumbai, February 27: Prakash Jha’s upcoming film “Aarakshan” will not create new tensions as he feels that the theme of the film is relevant as there is always “under current about aarakshan (reservation) in Indian society.”
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Tanvi Aazmi.
Jha stated “We try to understand the pain created in every society about ‘aarakshan’ and try to minimize it. It is also on the commercialization of education.”
The film neither stands for or against reservation. It will not add fuel to the subject matter. The entire cast and crew had a wonderful time shooting the film.
Co-incidentally the two big stars of the film Amitabh Bachchan is the son-in-law and Saif is the son of Bhopal.
In the film Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of a professor and Deepika that of his daughter.
