Sub Committee report on BCs welfare ready: FM

A Cabinet Sub Committee on BC welfare today taken several decisions to extend financial help to nomad, dhobis, Nayi Barhimns and other communities in a phased manner. Finance Minister Etela Rajender said that 2018 will be welfare for the BCs in the state.

After attending the meeting he said that they prepared a report for the welfare of BC communities in Telangana in a big way. As per directive of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Ro the committee met for several times and taken decisions for inclusive growth he remarked. KCR has asked emotionally in a meeting of MPs and MLAs to prepare a plan for all round development of BCs and promised to release GO. The committee is to submit the chief minister a report soon. On his approval the government will offer Rs 1 lakh loan to nomad, extend financial help to rajakas and mangali and other communities as per requirement he said. The plan will avoid the middlemen interference and banks. The welfare of BCs was lagging behind as the banks failed to cooperate and the previous governments ignored he charged.

The government is offering free education to the poor and training to get jobs the finance minister said. As chief minister has vision for golden Telangana, the plan will be implemented for developing the backward classes he said
