Hyderabad, April 19: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday constituted a cabinet sub committee which would frame guidelines for reinstallation of statues of social and political leaders at Tankbund which were damaged and uprooted by the Telangana activists on the event of Million March.
According to a GO issued in this regard, Tourism and Cultural Affairs minister will be the chairman of the committee. Municipal Administration and city development Minister, Minister for Panchayat Raj, Revenue Minister and Minister for Roads and Buildings will be the members.
Principal Secretary Youth services department will be the convenor.
The committee after studying the policy guidelines regarding reinstallation of statues will submit a report to the government.
