Hyderabad: A suitable plan will be implemented to ease of traffic jams and develop Hyderabad, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao stated.
Addressing a workshop on GHMC at ASCI here, the minister maintained that focus will be on strengthening infrastructure and facilities in the city and develop other cities and towns simultaneously. Now our sight is on to ease of traffic problems and adopt innovative plan and the best methods by studying the issue at national level he said. Our department, he said, is on the job to find out ways to address the persistent traffic woes in the city. Soon a GHMC team will visit Bengaluru to study maintenance of traffic and ease out problems he said. KTR also said that the official teams will make field level visit to other cities and make efforts to finalise a perfect plan of action on the impending issue. The Minister also vowed to develop Hyderabad as a clean and green city and develop other towns in the state. National construction companies will be called for a meeting to discuss on development projects in the city, he added. (NSS)
