Hyderabad: Students should move forward with a positive thinking so that they could contribute to the development of the country. They should take care of the other persons before thinking of themselves. To help others and to refrain from selfishness is the positive thinking. These thoughts were expressed by Dr. Mohammed Aslam Parvez, VC of MANUU as the message for the Independence Day while inaugurating the cultural programs organized at MANUU yesterday.
The students presented national anthem and the poems of Dr. Iqbal, “Saare Jahan se Acha …”, Sardar Jafri’s “Urdu Zaban Pyari Zaban and Gulzar’s University anthem “Yeh Jamia Zaaban-e-Urdu”.
The center for Urdu Culture Studies screened a documentary in which the messages of Nehru, Gandhi, Patel, Azad, Bose etc were recorded.
