Students, parents continue protest at SSC Board

Alleging that the authorities of SSC Board deliberately failed the students by awarding less marks, many students and their parents on Tuesday staged a protest at the Board office for second day.

They staged protest at the office of Hyderabad District Educational Officer and ransacked the office and destroyed furniture and glasses. The police intervened and arrested the students and their parents and whisked them away to Abids Police Station.

Ssc Urdu medium Maths and Science had lot of mistakes and lot of students have failed because of wrong questions the govt should take favorable action in this regard.

Reacting to the parents’ demand, the Deputy Chief Minister with Education portfolio said there was no scope of adding grace marks. However, the government was contemplating to add grace marks to the failed students. The government might take decision in this regard on Wednesday or Thursday, it is learnt. It may be mentioned here that most of the students failed in mathematics. (NSS)
