Hyderabad, December 9: Responding to the news published in Siasat on December 8, Vice Chairman and Managing Director Andhra Pradesh State Minority Finance Corporation Dr. Ilyas Razvi said ‘besides Minority Welfare minister, efforts are also made by Principal Secretary and Finance Corporation to enhance scholarship quota provided by the Central government.’
In a statement issued to the media he said “letters have been sent to the Minority Affairs Ministry by the Principal Secretary Minority Welfare department, Minority Welfare Minister Mohammad Ahmed Ullah and Finance Corporation so that quota may be enhanced to some extent. “
Dr. Ilyas Razvi told that it had been made obligatory to obtain income certificate issued after October 10, 2010 for getting the scholarships provided by the state government to various communities. Hence students needed to apply afresh for getting the scholarships provided by the state government.
Dr. Ilyas Razvi told that those students who had applied for central government scholarships could see the details of their application status at finance corporation website www.apsmfc.com.
