Students of Minority Residential Schools set off for rock climbing in Africa

Hyderabad: 4 students of Minority Residential Schools set off to scale Mount Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa. A team comprising of Sidratul Muntaha of Bodhan Girls School, Rani of Gajwel Girls School, Feroz of Warangal Boys Schools and Bhaskar of Sangareddy Boys School set off from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for rock climbing in Africa. The team left for 10-day trip.

The rock climbing contest were held from August 20 to September 6 on Bhongir rocks in which 80 students of Telangana Minority Schools took part. 18 students were selected who were given special training at Gachibowli Balayogi Athlete Stadium. Out of them 4 were selected for rock climbing in Africa.
