Jammu (J&K) [India]: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday urged the youth of the state to focus on education rather indulging in protests and acts of stone pelting.
“The childrens and students belong in food camps, IIT, dental colleges, not on road. The major issue will be solved by elder people. The children should study, must to go to school, and should become doctor, engineer, dental surgeons, and teachers. If they are being used for protesting and stone pelting, then in the coming years we will neither have doctors or engineers, nor roads,” said Mufti.
She was inaugurating a new building of the Government Dental College in Jammu, Mufti encouraged children to learn different skills to secure their future and get better employment opportunities.
“It is important to have some skill with education. We are taking efforts to train the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to be tourist guide and tourist facilitator. So, that in coming year they can get good employment opportunities in this sector,” she added. (ANI)
