Mr.Syed Zameer Pasha, IAS, Secretary Dept of Minority Welfare , Govt of Karnataka informed that Rs.39 crore were given under M.S.D.P scheme for Bidar Gulbarga and Raichur. Bidar was given Rs 19 crore have been sanctioned for these districts Rs one crore has been sanctioned for Christians.
Mr.Zameer Pasha told that this year,5 lakhs and 25 thousand bank accounts of the students were opened with zero balance. Students’ scholarship amounts would be directly credited to their bank accounts.When the bank accounts were opened for the students ,many school management objected to it but the Govt didn’t compromise .Syndicate Bank, Vijaya Bank and State Bank of Mysore opened students’ accounts.
He told that all the Dy. Commissioners have been instructed to review wakf matters and dislodge illegal occupants.
