Hyderabad: A 20-year-old student was killed on the spot when a speeding lorry ran over him at Medchal on Tuesday.
The deceased student was identified as
Arigela Dhiraj, studying his B.Tech
in MREM college. He was pursuing his 3rd year and was staying with his brother in a hostel at Medchal.
According to the police, Dhiraj was heading towards Medchal check post when the
mishap occurred. Dhiraj was on his two wheeler when a lorry being driven rashly crashed into the bike.
The impact of the crash was such that Dhiraj immediately came under the wheels of the lorry and was crushed.
